After his lessons with well known musicians in the Portuguese scene, Bruno Pedroso studies at the Academia de Amadores de Música and the Escola de Jazz do Hot Clube de Portugal. His private instructors in New York City were Leon Parker, Carl Allen, Jordi Rossy , Adam Nussbaum and Billy Hart.
In 1995 he becomes a faculty member of the Escola de Jazz do Hot Clube de Portugal.
His versatility and outstanding musicianhip make Bruno a very requested musician in the Portuguese jazz scene. He played and recorded with Zé Eduardo, Nuno Ferreira, Fátima Serro, Kiko, Nelson Cascais, Carlos Barretto, Tomás Pimentel, Carlos Martins and the Moreira brothers.
He plays very often with international jazz artist visiting Portugal such as Nicholas Payton, Gregory Tardy, Rick Margitza, Aaron Goldberg, Perico Sambeat, Ivan Paduart, Ricky Ford, Richard Galliano, Ron Jackson, among others.
