BOTÁNICA, the new album by Abe Rábade for Karonte Records is composed of 14 original compositions dedicated to Galicia's native vegetation and form a field of vision open to the world that merges the rural with the urban.

The musical writing and the piano of Abe Rábade meet the voice and traditional Galician percussion of one of the most prestigious values of today: Davide Salvado.

Daniel Juárez on tenor sax, Virxilio da Silva on guitar, Ton Risco on vibraphone, Jimena Andión on cello, Pablo Martín Caminero on double bass and Naíma Acuña on drums complete a heterogeneous artistic collective, based on the integration of musical aesthetics and the exploration free of prejudices.

SORTE is made up of 12 original compositions, with Abe Rábade on piano, Pablo Martín Caminero on double bass and Bruno Pedroso on drums.

With the suggestive idea-force of Luck as a group of elements that emerged through chance, each piece on the album represents a state of mind or a magnetic source of inspiration. The aesthetic range of the material goes from classical music to blues, passing through the influence of traditional Galician music, avant-garde timbre experimentation and, of course, the interactive and spontaneous elements so typical of jazz.

Tránsitos is a symphonic work in four movements written by Abe Rábade, with his Trio as a soloist with the Orchestra Real Filharmonía de Galicia.

It premiered on April 30, 2015 conducted by Paul Daniel at the Auditorio de Galicia (Santiago de Compostela).

Tránsitos delves into the symbiosis between symphonic music and jazz; without renouncing the extraordinary timbral variety offered by the orchestra or the real-time musical creation offered by a Piano Jazz trio.
